Eurocoms offer a range of Category 5 enhanced (CAT5E) cabling solutions.
Although CAT5E has been superseded by CAT6 cabling, we do from time to time have clients who require CAT5E for CCTV or telephony systems.
Eurocoms are one of the leading structured cabling installation companies in the UK, the standard of work and the materials we recommend are second to none. All our work is commissioned to the highest industry standards, we only use FLUKE network certifiers, the testing method 99% of cabling manufacturers and end-users prefer.
The CAT5E solutions we install are manufactured and tested to the ISO 11801, EN 50173 and ANSI/TIA‐568‐C standards for enhanced performance Category 5 cables. Each cable consists of 8 colour coded polyethylene insulated conductors. These are twisted together to form 4 pairs with varying lay lengths.
Eurocoms are registered installers of Excel, Connectix, Hellermanntyton, Datwyler and Nexans cabling systems amongst others. When we supply and install anyone of these systems, the manufacturer will warrant the system for 25 years as a minimum.
